The Official Kickoff Party for Urban Culture Exchange Weekend. It will feature a mixture of electrifying live entertainment, culturally significant culinary selections, and world class cocktails provided by the legendary brands of Bacardi. This high end all-inclusive event promises to be a night to remember!!

The opening night all-inclusive event which asks attendees to wear clothing which reflects their individual ethnic heritage. It is our hope that this will allow attendees to get a better understanding of how many different cultures intersect in Bermuda and how we as individuals all may have different roots but are still contributors to Bermuda at the same time.

The goal for this event is to highlight some of the major sub-cultures in Bermuda which contribute to our overall national culture. We will do this by having 4-5 different culinary stations featuring traditional food selections with representation from the Bermudian, Portuguese, Caribbean, Vegan, and Italian subsections. In addition Bacardi will be pairing these meals with signature cocktails which we all love!!

The entertainment for the evening will be equally reflective featuring performances from an African Dance group, the gombey’s, local comedians and entertainers, as well as two of Bermuda’s best DJ’s, Rusty G and DJ Mystro from Vibe 103.

Some of the other features of the event will be:

• Local vendors area for locally produced or sourced goods
• Photo Op spaces which will feature culturally relevant artwork from local artists
• Charitable recipients information area, which will be a place for attendees to ask questions and get a better understanding of what programs the selected charities are currently running

We want everyone who attends to leave with a sense of pride and a better understanding of their neighbors which we hope leads to more positive unity in our island community.
